A modern, manicured park on Batumi's New Boulevard named after the President of Poland and his wife. Favored by locals and travelers alike for wide avenues, a skate park, creative art installations, and proximity to the sea.
Lech and Maria Kaczyński Park in Batumi is a peaceful and meaningful site dedicated to the memory of Poland's tragically deceased presidential couple, Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria. The park was established in 2011, one year after the plane crash near Smolensk in April 2010 that took the lives of the Polish president and his delegation. The park's name symbolizes the close ties of friendship between Georgia and Poland, as well as recognition of Lech Kaczyński's support for Georgia.
The park is situated in a scenic part of the city, very close to the sea, making it a wonderful leisure spot for locals and tourists alike. It is accessible for people with disabilities, admission to the park is free, and it is open 24/7, allowing visitors to enjoy its beauty at any time. Beyond its memorial significance, the park is interesting for its atmosphere, which invites quiet reflection and leisurely strolls, offering a chance to enjoy nature and tranquility right within the city limits of Batumi.
