Batumi Plaza

Batumi Plaza Shopping Center is a large, distinctive complex in Batumi opened in the 2010s. It became the first in the city to combine retail stores, a hotel, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. It offers a convenient venue for shopping and leisure in the heart of old Batumi, merely a short walk from the aerial tramway and seaside promenade. Europe Square can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot, and Argo Cable Car in 3 minutes.

Inside Batumi Plaza you will find many interesting things, but it is worth noting that there are no clothing or footwear stores here. The main feature is the 'Gold Bazaar' on the second floor, where dozens of jewelry shops are located with a huge selection of gold and silver jewelry and Georgian enamel (minankari) items. On the first floor there are also several jewelry departments where you can buy, sell, exchange, and appraise precious metals and stones. In addition, there are electronics stores offering mobile phones, accessories, and small household appliances, as well as souvenir shops where you can order prints on T-shirts or mugs, and find magnets, wooden crafts, and small bottles of chacha.

For entertainment and recreation, the complex provides a casino and a betting shop. Although there are no cafes inside the shopping center itself, various dining spots are located right outside. It is important to know that parking is limited to approximately 20 free spaces, which are frequently occupied, so it is better to arrive on foot. The complex is constantly developing and offering relevant services, remaining a significant facility of the city's infrastructure.
