Bern

Bern is a stylish restaurant and bar in the very center of Batumi, located in one of the oldest buildings in the city, where Maxim Gorky and Anton Chekhov once stayed. The establishment occupies three floors: on the first floor there is a pub and a bar, on the second floor there is the main restaurant, and on the third floor there is a cozy terrace with a picturesque view of the old city and the sea coast. Live music is often played here in the evenings.

The menu at Bern is varied, with Georgian, European, and Central European cuisine, as well as barbecue, pasta, burgers, khinkali, khachapuri, grilled dishes, and signature items with a “Swiss twist.” Vegetarians and vegans will also find something to suit them. Guests especially praise the Megrelian kharcho, shkmeruli, khinkali, homemade lemonades, and desserts. Portions are large, and prices are average for the city center.
