Ardagani Lake

Lake Ardagani is a picturesque artificial lake situated directly on Batumi Boulevard in the very heart of the city. It has become a favorite recreation area for both local residents and numerous tourists. The lake is surrounded by greenery and walking paths, serving as an ideal location for leisurely strolls and admiring nature within city limits.

Several picturesque islets are located on the lake. One of them hosts the cozy Sunset Batumi cafe-restaurant, where you can savor local Georgian and European dishes while admiring stunning views of the lake and sunset.

The other islet has turned into a real bamboo grove with lovely little houses chosen by ducks and geese. It is so pleasant here to watch the birds and even feed them. Ducks, fish, and freshwater turtles live in the lake itself, making it a genuinely vibrant haven of nature in the middle of the city. The islets are adorned with various plants, and sometimes small boats can be seen near their shores, adding romance to the landscape.

The main attraction of Ardagani Lake is the famous Dancing Fountains. This incredible show of water, light, and music attracts thousands of spectators every evening. The fountains 'dance' to various melodies, from classics to modern hits, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. In summer, the show starts around 21:00. Ardagani Lake is a great place for walks, romantic evenings, and family recreation.
