An impressive double stream 47 meters high in Machakhela National Park.
Twin Waterfalls is one of the most impressive and scenic natural wonders near Batumi, located in the mountainous region of Adjara. This waterfall got its name thanks to a unique feature: the water stream divides into two parallel cascades that plummet simultaneously from rocky ledges about 47 meters high. The falling water forms a small natural lake at the base with crystal-clear, cool water, surrounded by lush subtropical vegetation, mosses, and ferns.
The path to the waterfall follows a picturesque trail leading through the dense forest of the national park. Walking along this trail is a true adventure where you can enjoy fresh air, the scent of pine needles, and the diversity of local flora. At the end of the route, visitors will find a furnished picnic area where you can relax, have a snack, and admire the views of the waterfall.
The water in the pool at the foot of the waterfall is refreshingly cool; in summer it is pleasant to take a dip here after a walk, and during the rest of the year simply to enjoy the sound of falling water and an atmosphere of tranquility. Twin Waterfalls is an ideal spot for nature lovers, secluded strolls, photo sessions, and observing the birds and animals inhabiting the forests of Machakhela.
