Chiruhi Waterfall is located in Adjara, in Shuakhevi Municipality, in the picturesque village of Chirukhi. This place is located about 40 kilometers from Shuakhevi and is famous for its beautiful nature and rugged road. Most of the way to the waterfall is unpaved, making the trip to it a true adventure, especially if you travel along the Chirukhi-Khikhani-Goderdzi high-mountain route. Reaching the waterfall is recommended in an off-road vehicle due to the difficult road.
Chiruhi Waterfall is surrounded by expansive open space and abundant greenery. Here you can organize a picnic, pitch a tent, and relax in the lap of wild nature. The height of the waterfall exceeds 28 meters, and its water flow is quite powerful. Despite the relative difficulty of the road, the efforts pay off with the beauty of the waterfall itself and the surrounding nature. Along the way to the waterfall, there are family-run guesthouses where the hosts are welcoming and offer tastes of traditional Georgian and Adjarian dishes, as well as organic products.
Chiruhi Waterfall is part of an extensive hiking route through highland Adjara. Nearby rises Mount Chirukhi at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level, offering beautiful views of small lakes and summer pastures. Visiting the waterfall allows you to get acquainted with the lifestyle and traditions of the region's indigenous population. Although the waterfall is not the tallest or most famous in Adjara, its natural beauty and the opportunity to relax away from the bustle make it attractive to those seeking seclusion and adventure.
