Tsitsinatela Amusement Park

The largest amusement park in Georgia, featuring more than 30 attractions, from classic carousels to extreme drop towers and roller coasters, open in the evenings until late at night.

Tsitsinatela Amusement Park, whose name means "Firefly" in Georgian, is the largest and most famous amusement park in Georgia. It is situated on the Black Sea coast along the main highway between the popular resort towns of Kobuleti and Ureki. Opened in 2006, the park lives up to its name completely: it comes alive at dusk, when thousands of multi-colored lights illuminate the grounds, creating a vivid festive atmosphere that attracts tourists and locals alike.

Around 40 different attractions are located across the park’s extensive territory, conventionally divided into three main zones: children’s, family, and thrill rides. This makes "Tsitsinatela" a versatile leisure venue where visitors of any age will find entertainment to their liking. Among the most popular rides are a giant Ferris wheel offering breathtaking views of the coastline at night, and several roller coasters for thrill-seekers. Furthermore, the park features bowling, arcade game halls, shooting galleries, and numerous cafes and food courts.

To plan a visit, it is important to know the key features of the park's operation. 'Tsitsinatela' is exclusively a seasonal project that operates only during the summer months, usually from mid-June to mid-September. Its second distinctive feature is its evening opening hours: the park opens at 18:00 and continues entertaining guests until late at night, usually until 01:00. Entrance to the grounds is free, and for riding attractions you need to purchase a special plastic card at the box office and top it up with the desired amount. To avoid large queues that form closer to nine in the evening, arriving for the park's opening is recommended.
